Just wanted to introduce myself
My name is maddie and I own 10 lovies and 16 quail. I am hand-raising 3 babie lovies at the moment.

Hi maddie! Welcome to the forum we bought a "handreared" lovebird for my daughter, I use the term handreared loosely, I think she took her out, fed her, and put her back. We let her out, and I put her back to bed when it went dark and I could grab her to put her back in her cage. She went to my friends dads aviary with other lovies, she was only a people bird if you had food or her friend Murphy was there. She was also an awful bully to anything bigger than her! She is much happier now, with her own kind we'd love to see piccies maddie, because they are absolutely beautiful!

We bred Lovvies years & years ago - fearless little birds, but I think they are wonderful

I have been tempted to have quail since losing our last our chicken but not got around to it.

Would love to see some piccies.

Hi Maddie and welcome. i had a one legged one eyed quail that thought he was a dog he is sadlly no longer with us i do miss the peep peep sound.
